Ashwin Devnani Joins as Chief Technology Officer and Max Messervy as interim Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategy
Investature today announced the addition of two veteran leaders to its executive team: Ashwin Devnani as Chief Technology Officer and Max Messervy as interim Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategy. These key additions of innovative technology and employer retirement benefits leadership are major accelerators for Investature's growth.
Ashwin Devnani – Chief Technology Officer
Ashwin brings over two decades of strategic experience, most recently serving as Senior Director at Salesforce, where he specialized in service management technology and operations consulting.
Ashwin's technical leadership experience includes architecting complex software solutions and managing development teams through challenging organizational phases. At Salesforce, Ashwin leveraged his extensive experience in service operations by leading clients' strategic advisory conversations in enabling them to craft transformative solutions and then managing key aspects of the delivery of those engagements. His proven track record in customer service excellence, service experience and design along with transformation at scale will be instrumental in developing Investature's platform capabilities and ensuring seamless user experiences for both plan sponsors and employees.
Ashwin holds a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting from University of Mumbai. Prior to Salesforce, Ashwin held leadership roles at Xerox, TransUnion and Accenture.
Max Messervy – Interim Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategy
Max brings nearly two decades of experience in sustainable finance and investment consulting, including his recent role as Head of Sustainable Investment, Americas at Mercer, where he led sustainable investment initiatives across North and South America. His extensive background in ESG integration, impact investing, and climate-related financial strategies makes him an ideal fit for Investature's mission to quantify environmental impact scenarios of investments.
As a former leader within Mercer's globally-recognized Sustainable Investment team, Max has advised institutional investors across the spectrum, including pension funds, endowments, insurers, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, sovereign wealth funds, and development finance institutions.
Max holds a Master of Public Policy from the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA and an Honors Religious Studies degree from McGill University. Prior to his leadership role at Mercer, he spent nearly four years at Ceres, a leading sustainability advocacy organization, and has worked with US municipal and Canadian federal and provincial governments.
