Two Finish Lines Achieved and More to Come
Investature was created to bring sustainable finance intentionality to employees and help employers tap a hidden opportunity to win the battle for talent. Start-up life is many things, but first and foremost it is on the polar ends of both excitement and challenge. Once in a while it helps to take a step back and acknowledge the journey for both our customers and ourselves.
First and foremost, we have surpassed the 1,000 customer conversations mark. We are built to meet an unforeseen need of both employees and employers. We can't do that without testing our ideas with tons of CxOs, board members and employees. Thank you to all the people that took their time to meet with our growing team, test our early solutions and provide feedback along the way. We will continue to remain hyper-focused on listening, providing business value to our employer customers and personal value to our employee audience.
Secondly, we are celebrating our 18 month birthday. Yes, we know 18 months isn't a birthday in the traditional sense. Maybe we are borrowing from Moore's law, half-lives or some other subconscious math that isn't bound to trips around the sun. Perhaps Sigmund Freud's ghost can analyze that for us. All we know is that it has been a wild, fun, bumpy, educational, inspiring, frustrating, surprising and invigorating ride. It feels good to step back and realize we've only been at this for 18 months. Yet, we feel like we've achieved a decades worth of learning. Thank you to our collaborators that have accelerated our learning and decelerated our hair from graying or going on a permanent vacation.
We also took a deep breadth for a strategic review of our solutions and organizational design. We've been market testing four solutions in our 1) Educate, 2) Act, and 3) Catalyze framework of our sustainable finance platform. We also operated internally under a matrixed org structure. That enabled most of our talent to wear both a "solution build" and "go to market" hat. For our next phase of company growth, we decided to simplify both our solution set and our organizational structure. This positions Investature to deepen value for customers and accelerate our ability to bring two solutions to market faster. Forgive us for taking 18 months to remember the KISS (Keep It Simple S****) principle. We are only a toddler after all!
